Turn Discord voice meetings into transcripts, summaries, and tasks
Run /meeting join in a voice or Stage channel. Shero records with visible controls, then organizes the processed audio, transcript, recap, and next steps in your server dashboard.
Meeting Recording Started
Shero is recording audio for transcript, summary, and tasks.
The notice is posted in the invoking text channel. The recording operator remains responsible for participant notice and consent.
From live conversation to durable context
One meeting record, four useful ways to review it
Shero keeps the raw meeting evidence and the generated recap together, so a community manager can scan the result or return to the exact moment in the conversation.
Transcript
Follow the conversation on a timestamped timeline
Shero presents speaker-labelled transcript lines beside the meeting audio. Select a line to seek to that point in the recording.
Summary
Review the decisions without replaying the whole call
The dashboard turns the processed transcript into a readable meeting recap while preserving the complete transcript for reference.
Tasks
Pull the next steps into scannable task cards
Extracted tasks can include an assignee hint, due-date hint, source speaker, and confidence when the meeting provides that context.
Artifacts
Keep the audio and generated files attached to the meeting
Authorized dashboard users can play the audio and request expiring downloads for the recording, transcript, and summary.
Built into Discord
Start, control, and finish the recording without another meeting app
Join the conversation
Enter a server voice or Stage channel, then run /meeting join. You can also choose an eligible channel explicitly.
Control the recording
Use the Pause, Resume, Stop, and Status buttons in Shero's recording notice, or run the matching /meeting commands.
Review the meeting
After /meeting stop, Shero processes the recording and adds the transcript, summary, tasks, and audio to the meeting dashboard.
See every start and control command in the Shero meeting command reference. For text-channel recaps rather than recorded calls, compare the message summarizer workflows.
Access and retention
Meeting artifacts stay private by default, with explicit access rules
The dashboard does not expose a meeting to every current server member. Access follows the people involved in the recording and the managers responsible for the server.
Read Shero's meeting data and retention policy →Visible recording state
Shero posts the start notice and recording controls in the text channel where the meeting was invoked, followed by pause, resume, stop, and processing updates.
Restricted dashboard records
Meeting details and downloads are limited to the meeting starter, recorded participants, and authenticated server managers.
Private artifact links
Audio and generated artifacts live in private object storage. Dashboard download links are signed and expire after five minutes.
Defined retention
Meeting records and artifacts are configured to expire after 90 days. Final storage removal can follow the exact expiry time because lifecycle processing is asynchronous.
Before you record
A recording notice is not the same as participant consent
Shero posts a recording notice in the invoking text channel, but it does not independently collect consent from every person in the voice or Stage channel.
The server manager operating the meeting must tell participants before recording and use the feature consistently with Discord's rules and the consent or recording laws that apply to the team. Choose a text channel where the notice and completion update are appropriate for the meeting.
AI credits that match the team
Try meeting processing with personal credits, then add a server pool
Credit use depends on the recording and generated output. Shero checks the available balance before publishing processed meeting content.

FAQ
Discord meeting recording and notes questions
How do I record a Discord meeting with Shero?
Join a server voice or Stage channel and run /meeting join. Shero posts a recording notice with Pause, Resume, Stop, and Status controls in the invoking text channel. Run /meeting stop when the conversation ends to start AI processing.
Does Shero work in both Discord voice and Stage channels?
Yes. Shero's meeting recorder supports guild voice channels and guild Stage channels. Group direct-message calls are not supported.
What does the Discord meeting dashboard include?
A completed meeting can include audio playback, speaker-labelled timestamped transcript lines, an AI-generated summary, extracted task cards, and downloads for the audio, transcript, and summary.
Who can access a recorded Shero meeting?
Meeting details and downloads are limited to the meeting starter, recorded participants, and authenticated server managers. The meeting's Discord status and completion messages are posted in the invoking text channel, so managers should choose that channel carefully.
Is the Shero Discord meeting notes bot free?
Every user receives 100,000 personal Shero AI credits that refresh weekly. Meeting processing uses AI credits. Shero Supporter costs $4.99 per month and adds a shared pool of 1 million AI credits per month for the covered server.
Does Shero obtain recording consent from meeting participants?
No. Shero posts a recording notice in the invoking text channel, but it does not independently obtain consent from every voice participant. The server manager who starts or operates the recording is responsible for notifying participants and complying with Discord's rules and applicable consent or recording laws.
How long does Shero keep meeting recordings?
Shero's meeting database records and private meeting artifacts are configured to expire after 90 days. Storage lifecycle processing is asynchronous, so final removal can occur after the exact expiry timestamp.
